New Roofs

New pitched roofs in tile and slate across Sussex, stripped back and rebuilt on new membrane and battens. A new roof usually takes us 2 to 3 days.

How We Do New Roofs

A new roof starts with a visit and a written proposal, and we go through the materials with you before anything is ordered. The old covering comes off, new membrane and battens go on, then the tiles or slates.

Tile or Slate

The photos on this page show both: red tiles with roof windows set in, and new slate on larger roofs. We go through the options with you at the proposal stage, so you know what is going on the roof and what it costs before we start.

What Comes With It

We give guarantees of 10, 15, 20 or 25 years. Quotes are free and carry no obligation. Fascias, soffits and gutters are our work too, so one team can do the whole roofline while the scaffold is up, and we leave the site clean and tidy.

Roof Windows

Roof windows can come out and go back in as the new roof goes on. The red tiled roof in the photos above is one of ours, with two roof windows set into it, and the roof was stripped back to battens first. Tell us at the quote if you want to add one.
