We repair and rebuild chimney stacks, re-point the masonry, renew the lead flashing where the stack meets the roof, and fit caps.
A leak near a chimney isn't always the brickwork. Water can get in where the stack meets the roof, which is why the lead is part of the job. Darren's quote came with a clear explanation of the work, and the chimney was repaired by the team as planned.
Where a stack has gone too far for re-pointing, we rebuild it. The photos on this page show a repointed stack with new lead at the base, stepped flashing up the side of another, a rebuilt corbelled top, and new flaunching around a terracotta pot.
Tiles, ridge, lead and brickwork are all our work, so a leak that involves the stack and the roof around it doesn't need two trades. Geoff's leaking stack was fixed soon after the quote was accepted, and the review calls us polite and tidy. Darren says George answered messages quickly and turned up on time.

"Great work fixing our leaking chimney stack. Competitive quote, reliable, did the job soon after acceptance of the quote, polite and tidy. Highly recommended."
